2024-2025 Application

The Love Like Lyndsey Loved Scholarship was created in 2020, to honor the memory of Lyndsey. Our intention is to recognize the special needs community and those dedicated to serving them.

Love Like Lyndsey Loved will grant four scholarships worth $1,000.00 each to graduating seniors from high school or home school in Volusia County, Florida. Seniors eligible for the scholarship can be either ESE students pursuing further education in an accredited 2 or 4-year university or vocational program, or students continuing their education in a related field at an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university to support individuals with special needs.

Applicants must:

Be a graduating senior from high school or home school in Volusia County, Florida with a GPA of 2.5 or above.
List their involvement in the special needs community
Submit 2 letters of recommendation from non family members. Preferably at least one from a teacher
Provide proof of enrollment or acceptance to an accredited college or university
Provide transcript from University High School or DeLand High School showing your GPA
